Drag Drop - Highlight target node Posted: Feb 15, 2010

Hi Dan,

I have been using your controls for a while. Excellent work. I have run into an issue with the tree view. When users drag and drop the nodes it is not clear what the target drop node is. I set Tree.DropMarker = Visiiblity.Visible. But this only shows the level the drop is hapenning.

The users want the nodes to be highlighted when they drag a node over other nodes so it is clear to them where they are dropping the dragged node. I tried using NodeMouseOver event but this does not fire when the drag is in operation. Kind of stumped how to do this. Any help is much appreciated.

Regards,

Srini

Hi Srini,

A mode to enable node highlighting whilst dragging will be implemented in the next version, thanks for your suggestion.

Thanks!
