how to remove Add button from spell check in rich text Posted: Aug 26, 2010

Hi,

I want to remove add button from spell checker in rich text box, this is because currrently it doesnot add words to dicitionary.

Or else suggest a method to add words to dictionary , other than isolated storage.

Thanks in Advance

I would have thought that you could remove the Add button in the style?

If you want the style it is published somewhere in this forum.

Hi,

The RichTextBox style contains the spell checker popup.  You can simply add a Visibility = Visibility.Collapsed to the button element to hide it.

Thanks!

I just modified the code for this and added a property to hide the add button

New property:

        Visibility popupAddButtonVisability = Visibility.Visible;

        public Visibility PopupAddButtonVisability

        {

            get

            {

                return popupAddButtonVisability;

            }

            set

            {

                popupAddButtonVisability = value;

            }

        }

Here are the lines to modify

 Button elementAdd = ((Button)ElementBubble.FindName("ElementAdd"));

 elementAdd.Click += new RoutedEventHandler(RichTextBox_Add_Click);

elementAdd.Visibility = popupAddButtonVisability;

Hi,

Thanks for this.  I will add this to the RichTextBox to be included in the next version.

Thanks!
