Event Not getting Called on Menu Click Posted: Mar 17, 2011

hi,

I am populating the Menu contents in code behind. Ex :

For Each menuItem As String In currentMenus

            Dim menuNode As New Liquid.MainMenuItem

            menuNode.VerticalAlignment = VerticalAlignment.Center

            menuNode.HorizontalAlignment = HorizontalAlignment.Left

            menuNode.Text = menuItem

            contextMenu.Items.Add(menuNode)

        Next

And in the xaml side the menu used is :

<liquidMenu:Menu x:Name="contextMenu" Visibility="Collapsed" Height="100" Width="150" Canvas.Left="12" Canvas.Top="41" ItemSelected="contextMenu_ItemSelected" > </liquidMenu:Menu>

And the event Code is :

Public Sub contextMenu_ItemSelected(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As Liquid.MenuEventArgs)

        status.Text = "menuClicked"

    End Sub

But, I am not getting any response on the menu click. Not even able to debug on the "Sub".

Please help.

RE: Event Not getting Called on Menu Click Posted: Mar 21, 2011

Hi,

In your code please change the 1st line in your loop to:

Dim menuNode As New Liquid.MenuItem

At the moment you are using a MainMenuItem within a reguar menu and that is causing the problem here.

Thanks!
