CMS Standard cannot call EDIT.aspx Posted: Nov 30, 2010

Hi,

I have downloaded the CMS Standard but cannot use it. VCMS_V1_0.ZIP

The edit.aspx is missing.

When logged is as admin the EDITOR shortcut on the top should open this page, but I get only a white screen.

When I use http://mycomputer/mycms/edit.aspx like mentioned in your docu it is also returning a white page.

I also had to comment out the TEST object to make the LOGIN working.

    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)

    {

        //test.Visible = false;

        //test.Click += new EventHandler(test_Click);

    }

Regards

Joachim

RE: CMS Standard cannot call EDIT.aspx Posted: Nov 30, 2010

Hi Joachim,

Thanks for pointing this out.  I have made a change to the template as it was still referring to Silverlight version 3.  Please use the updated download and ensure you have Silverlight 4 installed.  The page Edit.aspx doesn't physically exist it is dynamically generated, as are all CMS pages.

Thanks!
