Hi Ido,

I'm fine than you, how are you?  Yes I've read that article and the many other similar ones about the apparent imminent death of Silverlight.  As you've probably read in the various official MS posts since that article appeared Silverlight is not dead and when HTML5 finally gets here the two will co-exist together.  The way I see it is HTML5 will be for games/video and Silverlight for business apps.

As for seeing the Vectorlight TreeView and other controls on HTML5, thats not going to happen anytime soon.  The HTML5 section on this site offers a few simple tutorials and games, but not much else.

The Liquid controls will continue to be developed and maintained for Silverlight only.

Thanks!

Hi,

I would tend to agree that silverlight is not dead, actually all their cloud solutions, management etc are built on silverlight. It is a great solution, one that will gain momentum over time once adopted more..
