Page Properties
Along with the visible page content there are many properties that are associated with a page that can be configured. The Page Properties dialog can be accessed from the Toolbar or the Page menu and consists of 4 tabs.
General Tab
The default tab that is appears when the Page Properties is displayed is the General tab and allows you to specify the Long Title and Menu Title, template and SEO options such as Description and Keywords.

Menu and Long Title
The Menu Title is limited to 50 characters and as its name suggests is used in the menu modules. The Long Title which is limited to 120 characters is the full length name of the web page.
Changing the Template
The Template drop down list contains a list of all the available website templates. When you change the selected template the page is automatically updated to show a preview of the new template. Click Cancel to revert back to the original template.
Description and Keywords
When a web page is generated these two fields are inserted into the head metadata section and is used by some search engines for determining the content of the page.
Roles Tab
The Roles tab allows you to specify which user roles the page exists in. This allows you to create pages that only certain groups of registered users can view.

There is no limit to the number of roles a page can exist in. See the admin tool Users and Roles to add/modify existing roles.
Visibility Tab
This tab controls when the page becomes visible and also whether it can be navigated to using the various website menus.

Start and End Dates
You can specify a date range that the page is visible for. Before and after these dates the page will not be displayed by the CMS.
Show this Page in the Menu
When you select this option the page is not visible on the various website menus. In the website navigation pane the page icon will appear faded out to indicate the page has been hidden.
Show this Page in the Menu to All Roles
When this option is selected the page is only visible in the menus if the logged on website user is in the same role(s) as the page.
Metadata Tab
This tab allows you to specify extra properties associated with a page called metadata. Metadata categories can be added/modified using the admin tool Metadata Manager.

The properties displayed will vary from configuration to configuration.
