Description

In this rather interesting tower defense game you must stop the advancing swathes of glowing spheres from getting to the right-hand side of the screen.

Each level you have a different type of defense mechanism such as those that destroy anything on impact and giant magnets that pull the enemies into them.

This is a refreshing take on the tower defense genre and is sure to entertain!

Hmm... Looks awesome, sounds awesome, but...



The controls are a little against the grain. To me their not really intuitive. Why press space to change to the next one in the list, when you can just click on the type you want?



Also, the aim of the game isn't presented in an obvious way. Instead of the usual TD objective of kill the dudes before they get to your base, this game is basically trying to stay alive just long enough for the timer to go down.



Then there's the hidden rule that says every time one of your defenses does anything, it dies a little. For the most part, this is done very quietly - as in, there are no visual cues telling you the defense is nearly done. Sometimes (perhaps with only certain defenses) it slowly fades as time goes on, but this still doesn't make it obvious what's going on.



But again - I must say the visuals are really top-notch, and the frame-rate is smooth; so well done on that score. And, for the short time I played it, the music was cool and didn't seem to grate after a couple of minutes. The next game from whoever made this will be awesome, I'm sure. Well, I hope, anyway. Such potential...
