Expandout + focus not working when visibility changed Posted: Aug 09, 2011

Hi

I have a problem with treeview which I really hope you can help me out on.

I have a populated treeview ( xaml populated ) and sometimes I need to hide some of the nodes.

When I hide the nodes by looping through all nodes and setting the visibility to collapsed for those I don't need to see in the particular situation I can't go to the node and expand out.

It works just great with the expand out and focus when I don't run this code for making some collapsed

                       List<Node> nodes = LBPtree.Find("");

                        foreach (Node pis in nodes)

                        {

                            if (pis.ID.Contains("i"))

                            {

                                LBPtree.Get(pis.ID.ToString());

                                LBPtree.SetSelected(pis);

                                LBPtree.Selected.Visibility = Visibility.Visible;

                            }

                            else

                            {

                                LBPtree.Get(pis.ID.ToString());

                                LBPtree.SetSelected(pis);

                                LBPtree.Selected.Visibility = Visibility.Collapsed;

                            }

The code for expanding and going to a certain node is this:

            Node nynode = LBPtree.Get(((App)App.Current).AktuelNode);

            LBPtree.SetSelected(nynode, true);

            LBPtree.Selected.ExpandOut();

            LBPtree.Selected.Focus();

It's really important to me to get this to work somehow, please help

If you need more information let me know, thanks
