User control as node icon Posted: Feb 02, 2011

Hi,

Is it possible to use user controls (just graphic) as node icon? Which types of images are allowed? I need to use vector graphics.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Stefan

RE: User control as node icon Posted: Feb 11, 2011

Hi Stefan,

Sure, to use a user control as an icon you can simply set the IconContent property.  The IconExpandedContent can also be used for when the node is expanded.  These properties will accept any UI element.

To set them first create your node using the following constructor:

public Node(string id, string title, bool hasChildren)

You can then assign you user control to the icon property:

myNode.IconContent = myUserControl;

Thanks!
