MS IME support Posted: Aug 02, 2010

Hi, Dan: Nice to know that Liquid.RichTextBox is supporting MS IME now. But when I was testing on your demo site to input Chinese, I can only select the first character, when right arrow key clicked, IME showing more choice to select, I am not able to select others.

Also about versions, I downloaded 5.2.7. This version is for Silverllight 3 right? I have VS2008 and SL3. After downloaded 5.2.7 (was using 5.1.7 before), I am not even able to make the first chinese character selection (IME does lunch PinYin part, no chinese character got input to rich textbox). Did I miss anything?

Thanks for your help.

I found what was wrong with my project. My project windowless mode is set to 'True'. Windowless mode does not support IME. Same for MS Silverlight 4 RichText control.

Hope this will help somebody.

Hi Jin,

Thanks for sharing this.  As noted when in Windowless mode IME doesn't work in Silverlight.

Thanks!

Hi, Dan: I am having problem when input Japanese. The system (IE) freezes. Type English is OK. I downloaded your latest controls. It still doing that. I am sure it is not your control's problem, since I can input Japanese here without problem. Do you know where I should check in my project (SL4, VS2010) or machine?

Thanks in advance!
