Hi,

The spell checker uses standard .dic files, you can find some here:

Thanks!

Hi,

I've downloaded the standard en-GB.dic but the spellchecker doesn't find any words in it. No matter what word I type the spellchecker thinks that it is incorrect.

What is the problem?

Phil.

Got it working by adding [words] at the top of the .dic

Capital letters cause spell checking to fail.

I have my .dic file but all the words in the .dic file that start with a capital do not work, they are allways underlined as spelt incorrectly.

i.e. In my .dic I have "Microsoft" when I spellcheck "microsoft" or "Microsoft" it always comes back as spelt incorrectly. In the .dic if I change it to "microsoft" with a lowercase "m" the spellcheck then works for both microsoft and Microsoft.

I have checked several open source .dic file and there all contain words that start with a capital, so is this a problem with the control?
