Is there any way to display an icon with a MainMenuItem?  I can do it just fine with MenuItems.  They both have an icon property, but it doesn't seem to work with the MainMenuItem.

You are right, the MainMenuItem class does have this property but is not used.  We will get this property implemented in the next version of the controls library.
