Print/Export functionality Posted: Dec 15, 2009

I would like to use this control to provide editing of HTML Content which includes images and the ability to export it to the Rich Text format and or print it.

Would this HTMLRichTextArea control work for me? I am confused between the Liquid.RichText control and this.

Hi,

This control is simply an enhanced version of the new Silverlight 4 RichTextArea control.  By enhanced I mean it supports basic HTML loading/saving.  The source code is provided with the download so you can modify it as you like.

The Liquid.RichTextBox is our original Rich Text Editor and was created from scratch and has been around for nearly 2 years now and has no dependencies on other Silverlight controls.

As Silverlight 4 is still in beta for exporting and printing you can use the Liquid.RichTextBox as this provides more functionality than the HtmlRichTextArea and to print its content you simply use a Liquid.RichTextBlock loaded with your HTML/RichText content.

Thanks!
