The Editor
To edit your website you will be using the CMS editor. Here we explain how you access the editor interface and what each section does.
Accessing the Editor
The CMS editor can be accessed from the page edit.aspx, so for example if your website is http://www.mysite.com/ you would use http://www.mysite.com/edit.aspx to load the CMS editor.
If you are accessing the editor for the first time the default username is admin and the default password is admin. Please change this password when you have logged on.
Editor Screen
Here we will discuss the What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) CMS editor screen layout explaining what each section of the interface does.

Editor Screen Layout
The main CMS editor screen is divided into different areas. On the left-side there is the navigation and styles pane. The central area is the main editing area and contains the current web page in edit mode. Above is the command and formatting toolbar and menus.
Navigation Pane
The navigation pane contains the structure of the website in a tree-like construction. At the top is the website home page, this is always at the top and cannot be moved or deleted. Below the home page are all your other pages. These can be moved around and new pages created.

To move a page around you simply click and hold the left mouse button over a page icon and drag the page to where you want it to be. A visual indicator will be displayed whilst dragging a page to help you position it correctly.
Any changes made by moving pages around as well as creating new ones will automatically reflected in your websites various menus.
When you select a page in the navigation pane the central editing area will load the page ready for editing. The dotted areas indicate the editable content areas, these are the areas of the web page that you can edit in the CMS editor. When you click inside a content area the border will change to Red indicating it is active and can be typed in.
Styles Pane
When this pane is selected you can apply a predefined format to some content, such as making some text a heading. Simply select some text in your editable area and select the style you wish to apply.

At the top of the style pane is a drop down list which contains all the available stylesheets. These allow you to apply a color scheme to a web page easily.
Central Editing Area
This is where your website page will appear. There will be areas with a dotted outline, these are called editable content areas and are where you will enter your content. When you click inside a content area the border will change to Red indicating it is active and can be edited.

Command and Formatting Toolbar
This toolbar allows you to create/save your changes, format your content, insert images, tables and modules.
