Command Controls

The toolbar contains both command and formatting controls.  Here we will cover the command controls available.

The Command Toolbar Buttons

New Page

This is the first button on the toolbar and is used to create a new page.

Save

This will save any changes you have made to the current page.  It will not be enabled if you have not made any changes.

Submit/Publish Page

If Enable Page Approval is selected in the website options this will be the Submit button and clicking it will submit the selected page for approval.  A page must be in an edited and saved state for this to be enabled.

When Page Approval is not enabled this button will publish the page to the live website.

Delete Page

This button will submit the selected page for deletion.  The page is not deleted until a website administrator approves the deletion.

Page Properties

Clicking this will display a dialog containing the properties for the selected page.  Please see the Page Properties page for more details on this.

Page Preview

This will display the selected page including any edits you may have applied.  This gives you the chance to see how the page will look on the live website before actually submitting it for approval.
